Pac-Man, we’ve all heard of this crazy little yellow fella who roams eating more food than his gut can take, but did you know that this retro game, has now been immortalised into a new skill-based casino game? A mind-blowing gaming experience is about to hit the casino scene and it’s one that is going to be very popular indeed. Pac-Man Battle Casino is a revolutionary new gambling experience which allows players to bet cash on the outcome of the much loved, fast-paced game. You may not have been around when Pac-man was first invented, well, it was invented back in the 1980’s – so you probably weren’t around, but despite the decades rolling by, the game has very much remained the same – until now.
What’s new Pac-Man?
So, land based casino goers are going to see Pac-Man like they’ve never seen him before, thanks to the newly announced machine from Namco and Gamblit Gaming. The multiplayer Battle Casino looks to be very similar to the free-standing 2011 game; Pac-Man Battle Royale, hardly surprising as it’s been co-developed by the same Japanese team. Between two to four players will be able to take part in this arcade gameplay, where shifting Pac-Man around the fun-filled maze to win prizes is the aim of the game. Chomp on as many pellets as you can, accumulating cash (not points) as you go, but watch out for those pesky ghosts, because they can appear from nowhere and put end to your gameplay – and your cash.
Hunt out those power pellets and watch your Pac-Man grow, this sees Pac-Man increase in size and thus awarded the special powers of being able to eat your opponents! Not only do you have to watch out for the ghosts, but the players around the table will also be battling against you to win the cash on offer. Pac-Man Battle Casino is exciting stuff and a game that is going to be a huge hit.
Just like the original arcade Pac-Man game, you have to put your cash into the machine before you can play, but Pac-Man Battle Casino is one where you could win substantial sums of money. The screenshots provided by Gamblit show just how fun and rewarding the game can be. The amount of cash that can be won will be based on the number of players competing and the cash on the wheel.
If you like the sound of this unique and thrilling casino release, you will have the opportunity to play it, but it’s only available at land based venues from next year. Gamblit are no strangers to skill-based gambling games, what with The Walking Dead, Doodle Jump and Jetpack Joyride already available to play, but these titles are very different to Pac-Man Battle Casino, as they are single player games where you are playing against a machine.

We are huge fans of Namco gaming titles from yesteryear, especially Street Fighter II – where you could unleash your inner martial arts psycho to win. With Namco now turning to skill-based casino games, we can’t help but dream of what other thrilling gaming titles that Namco could release in the near future. Is this what the future of casino games looks like? Will online slot machines be replaced by arcade games such as this? Who knows. If you like what you see, let us know in the comments below.
